Aiden Byrne, Great British Menu finalist and the youngest ever winner of a Michelin star, is set to open a new restaurant in Merseyside. The restaurant will be called The British Grill and it is scheduled to open at the end of this month at the Craxton Wood Hotel in Ledsham. Byrne said diners can look forward to British favourites with a twist. Byrne, who made his name as head chef at the Dorchester, said: "It is about giving everyone the opportunity to taste really great food. We have created a contemporary and relaxed dining space and the food, although hearty, will be every bit as inventive as anything I have ever created."
