Brian Turner Brings New Restaurant to Butlins

Brian Turner Brings New Restaurant to Butlins

29th Mar 2011

TV Chef Brian Turner has teamed with Butlins to create a brand new restaurant at their resort in Bognor Regis, Sussex. Turner, who was the first British chef to gain a Michelin star and who is also the British judge for global cooking competition the Bocuse d'Or, last operated a restaurant in 2008 at the Millenium Hotel in Mayfair. Butlin's say that the new restaurant opening in April will be a showcase for classic British cooking with a generous sprinkling of Butlins-style fun twists and will be lively and informal. The menu features dishes like shepherd's pie with a Wensleydale cheese topping, Norfolk chicken, avocado and cherry tomato salad and marmalade bread and butter pudding. Nigel Davis formerly head chef at the Ivy restaurant will be the Head Chef. There are future plans to bring the new restaurant to the other two Butlins resorts in Minehead and Skegness.
