The Academy of Culinary Arts has selected three British Chefs for the shortlist to take part in the next Bocuse d'Or challenge. Bocuse d'Or is one of the culinary world's most sought after prizes. It takes place every two years having been launched in 1987 by France's legendary chef Paul Bocuse to showcase the individual talents of young chefs. The shortlist includes Adam Smith from The Ritz, Adam Bennett from Simpson's and Martin Hollis from Gleneagles. The three chefs will now take part in a cook-off involving a mystery basket of ingredient to create a recipe detailed by the ACA but based on the Bocuse d'Or. Two candidates will then go through to the final round, the details of which are yet to be announced.
