Celebrity Chef announced for Falmouth Oyster Festival

Star of BBC 2's series 'What to Eat Now', Valentine Warner, will be the Celebrity Chef at this year's Falmouth Oyster Festival.

Valentine will be opening the festival with a cooking demonstration using local and wild ingredients, highlighting the quality and diversity of Cornish produce.

Sian Robbins, the Events & Promotions Officer at VisitCornwall said “Valentine has been described as a culinary adventurer with a passion for food, nature and the seasons. With his knowledge of the unique methods of dredging oysters around Falmouth, he will be the perfect chef to launch the festival for us.”

The festival takes place from the 14th - 17th October at Events Square in Falmouth.
