A chef in Texas has just perfected a way to deep fry beer. It has taken Mark Zable 3 years to perfect the method, and has applied for a patent on deep frying liquids.
The beer is sealed inside a ravioli shaped pocket of pretzel-like dough, then plunged into hot oil for 15-20 seconds. Speaking about his new creation, Mark said "It tastes like you took a bite of hot pretzel dough and then took a drink of beer."
The deep fried beer will be officially unveiled at the Texas State Fair later this month, where visitors will be able to sample it.
