Dream Work Placement For Young Chef

18 year old Chef Luke Thomas has landed his dream work placement at the world famous Noma Restaurant in Copenhagen, Denmark. He earned the placement after flying all the way to Denmark to ask if he could work in the kitchen for a month to gain experience. He said: "I sent an email but when I didn't get a reply I flew there to have dinner in the restaurant and ask if I could have a placement" - "I know it was extreme - but it was worth it as they said yes!" Luke will arrive back from his placment in December when he will be coming home to Scotland to work with the Individual Restaurant Company over the Christmas period. The 18 year old has previously worked with top chefs such as Gary Rhodes and Heston Blumenthal whilst working at the highly credited Alinea Restaurant in Chicago.
