Next month the Finnish Institute is launching a temporary restauarant as part of the London Design Festival.
Hel Yes! will be open from the 15th September - 3rd October at Londonnewcastle Deport in North London. The restuarant will be serving a set menu with a focus on foraged ingredients from Nordic forests.
Finninsh Chef Antto Melasniemi, who will be leading the restaurant, said "It will be all about the delicacies of primitive Finnish cuisine which is typically more about pure ingredients than, for example, restaurant culture. We will use the best vegetables and fish as well as traditional cooking methods, producing our own interpretations along the way."
