Salary - £26-28k per annum
ROLE PURPOSE
- To assist the General Manager in all undertakings concerned with the delivery of the company expectations to the client
- To support and motivate all team members in delivering of customer requirements and satisfaction
- To provide and maintain the highest standards of food & drink service to the customers on behalf of the client
- To effectively utilise the branding and marketing materials provided in all sectors of the business
- To represent Gather & Gather’s FOOD ideals at all times
- To communicate effectively with the client & team
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full operational support to the business, while making sure the management and staff provide a consistent high standard of customer service
- Creating a positive team atmosphere & customer environment
- Ensuring QHSE standards are met and upheld by your team
- Financial management: cash control, weekly banking, GP control and forecasting, rostering
- Monitor and ensure all areas of the business are running efficiently and in line with company standards
- Monitoring staffing levels in line with business demands, using the company recruitment, induction and training guides whilst developing & progressing your team
- Maximising on revenue techniques and opportunities to demonstrate and improve financial bearings
- Taking control on all aspects of the business in the absence of the General Manager
- Duty management of event days to include prior preparation is completed for successful delivery of the catering offering
- Dealing and reporting of maintenance issues
- Record and take actions on all customer feedback in a constructive and positive manner
- Full knowledge of all areas of the business to provide cover for heads of departments
- Carrying out projects with the support of the General Manager to continually improve and progress the customer experience / financial benefits to the business
YOUR EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
- A flair for quality customer service
- A love of food & beverages and a knowledge of current trends
- Experience in hospitality and retail management with strong capabilities to make quick on-the-job decisions
- Strong communication skills
- A friendly attitude towards colleagues and customers
