A fantastic opportunity to work alongside one of the most renowned chefs in the opening of one of their small chain of Italian restaurants.

They’re looking for a Chef De Partie to work with the Sous and Head Chefs at a new site in the heart of Woking.

There are now 4 restaurants in the chain, so a lovely boutique size. More are to follow, so room for progression there.

The owner is on-site, at the moment, to make sure things run smoothly, while we find their perfect chefs to take the helm. Two Sous Chefs and Two CDP's are needed, so you are most welcome to bring colleagues with you if you so desire.

Part of the salary is tronc, but it is a guaranteed £27,000, 48 hours per week. Overtime will be paid.

Roles and Responsibilities

* Working closely with the owners to meet goals and expectations.

* Managing and working closely with other chefs in your brigade.

* Controlling and directing all aspects of the food preparation process.

* Making sure a high standard is always met and customer satisfaction is prioritized.

* Controlling food inventory, stocktaking, and ordering.

* Responsible for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations, including sanitary and food safety guidelines.

* Being responsible for health and safety and for food hygiene practice.

* Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes within the specialty section.

* Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes, and developing dishes.

* Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices.

* Managing and training any Commis Chefs.

* Monitoring portion and waste control.

* Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards.


* Level 1 and 2 Food Safety Awards.

* Minimum 1-year relevant experience.

* Awareness of manual handling techniques.

* Awareness of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health.

* Regulations (COSHH) and chemical safety.

* Experience with kitchen equipment, and dangerous types of equipment such as knives.

* Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and self-motivation.

Desirable and useful but not necessary:

* Level 2 Health and Safety in the Workplace Award.

* Level 3 Food Safety Awards.
