Start a new career cooking in a multi-purpose outlet located in the outskirts of Cardiff. Working alongside a very experienced kitchen brigade, you will develop exisiting and new culinary skills and knowledge.


Cooking in a hotel that holds a 40 seater restaurant and holds over 150 weddings per year, you will be working both off an A La Carte Menu as well as assisting the kitchen team with outside catering.


This will be a perfect opportunity for you to experience cooking in one of the busiest hotels in Cardiff whilst starting your career as a hotel chef.


Key Information:

- Looking for the right chef to start immediately due to business demands
- Permanent/Full Time contract
- Starting annual salary of £20,000 per annum
- Contracted to 45 hours per week

- Paid for extra hours/shifts that you work 

Your Responsibilities and Duties:

- You will be expected to run a section of the kitchen, eventually developing yourself to know each of the sections in the kitchen inside and out.
- Fully understanding the menu and perfecting each dish
- Ensuring that the hotel retains their Food Hygiene rating

- Keeping your section clean and organised throughout service


Ideal Candidate:

- Looking for someone with three years’ experience or more, working at Chef de Partie Level
- Experience of cooking in hotels would be beneficial
- You must be career motivated and eager to learn and develop yourself as a Chef

- The ideal candidate will have a high work ethic with great composure due the volume of covers that the business demands
