At Select Norwich we are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Chef de Partie and a Junior Sous Chef. Working in an award-winning restaurant, the successful candidates will be offered a highly competitive salary with very generous tips, as well as having 3 days off weekly.

Placed within the top 50 Gastro Pub venues in the UK and featured in the Michelin pub guide, the restaurant serves fresh pub food with creative flare. Our client has a strong focus on seasonal and locally sourced produce which is served in a rustic and relaxed setting.

The Role

* Work as a skilled and confident Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment
* Cook with fresh, seasonal and local produce, consistently producing the highest standard of food
* Cook with a small brigade in a passionate and driven team
* Use creativity, skills and experience to assist the Head Chef in developing the menu
* Consistently strive for perfection

Experience and Skills required

* The ideal candidate will have Rosette or Michelin experience, however this is not essential
* Experience working with fresh food
* Must be a team player
* Work well under pressure to ensure a smooth and organised service
* Ability to use initiative

Personal Characteristics

* Ambitious Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef who has genuine interest in the industry
* Passion for working with fresh and seasonal ingredients to create exciting dishes with flair and creativity
* Be a motivated and driven Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef
* Reliable and flexible

Salary and Benefits

* Chef de Partie salary is £17-19K (dependant on experience) + up to £5K
* Junior Sous Chef salary is £22-25K (dependant on experience) + up to £5K tips
* 3 days off weekly
* Live-in available
