Description


Job Purpose
You will share the same passion for great service, food and drink that we do! To ensure an efficient and stylish service is provided in line with the CH&CO brand, involved in developing house sales, and able to understand and manage in accordance with finance and budget requirements. Working 40 hours a week on £10.54 per hour.
 
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
·       Responsible for the day to day operational delivery across the campus including weekly accounting, staff rostering, service  delivery and service standards.
·       At all times, role model behaviour in line with our values; Inclusive, Inquisitive and Uplifting
·       To undertake CH&CO specific training courses relevant to this role
 
Food and Service
·       Ensure that the client & customer expectations of food and food service are consistently delivered in line with the CH&CO brand.
·       Brief all staff regarding food and service standards to ensure that all services provided are of the highest standards.
·       Continually monitor the service and food provided in the restaurant, give feedback to the chefs/ service team and to ensure the food and service is of the highest quality.
·       Check stock levels and order supplies.
 
Finance
·       Working with the Operations Manager and Ops Support to ensure that correct number of staff are available for any given service and that staff are utilised effectively and productively throughout.
·       Use all opportunities to maximise sales.
·       Ensure that all items are priced accurately, and that appropriate signage is in place.
·       Ensure correct cash handling procedures are followed.
·       Assist where necessary in preparing financial reports.
·       Assist in the monthly stock takes as directed.
 
Managing & Developing Team
·       Organise and supervise the shifts
·       Ensure all staff carry out tasks in accordance with company health, hygiene, quality and safety standards as set out in the appropriate CH&CO manual.
·       Organise and support Team Members to deliver service effectively and monitor performance
·       Support with training new Team Members to learn procedures and brand standards for all general tasks
 
Customer Service
·       Act as the first point of reference for all customer comments and concerns and take any necessary action. Where necessary respond to customer complaints and provide service recovery and follow through.
·       To strive to continually exceed customer expectations and provide excellent customer care
·       Champion excellent customer service and effectively implement all customer communication tools provided by Marketing in order to build sales.
 
Operational Health & Safety
·       To keep up to date with all COSHH and HACCP procedures and methods.
·       Ensure that all employees adhere to the uniform standards.
·       To report any equipment and/or building fabric faults and any hygiene, health and safety hazard to the relevant parties on site and in CH&CO.
