Head Chef Cambridgeshire Wedding Venue Up to £40k

Are you a high volume head chef looking to work in one of Cambridgeshire's most prestigious wedding venues? I am currently recruiting for a head chef for a high volume Wedding & conference business currently catering to (Apply online only) weddings a year

You will have the opportunity to work within 100% fresh and local produce, with 90% of their fruit, vegetables and meat coming from their own small holding.

As head chef you will be coaching, developing and mentoring a team of 8 producing a menu using 100% fresh food catering for a large range of clientele and cuisines.

This role will allow the head chef the freedom to be involved with the menu writing & development and business direction. The client really invests time and effort in their team and recognise and reward those who go the extra mile, with a 37 hour working week and paid overtime, along with industry leading training, excellent career progression and the opportunity to run your own kitchen.

The ideal candidate will come from a busy fresh food background, have a good understanding of running a wedding & conference venue, menu writing & costing, stocktakes, full due diligence and be able to run, motivate and develop the kitchen team and offering.
Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be able to work a variety of shifts covering weekends, bank holidays and evenings.
