Gather & Gather – General Manager
Do you have a passion for bringing food and people together? Are you looking for a rewarding job with great opportunities for personal development?

We’re looking for an individual who has a flair for customer service, has strong communication skills, has a friendly attitude towards colleagues and customers and of course has a love for food or a desire to know more!

This site is a 7-day a week operation, breakfast, lunch and dinner service. The contract consists of a staff restaurant and coffee bar as well as a separate café. The team consists of 30 members of staff including an assistant manager, a supervisor, a head chef and sous chef. The day to day operation is looked after by the FOH team/Assistant Manager.

As a Gather & Gather General Manager you will be responsible for delivering a quality service across the unit. You ensure a strong relationship is built and kept with clients and customers while providing and maintaining the standards of the food & drink service. You will effectively utilise the branding and marketing material provided as well as making sure you communicate effectively with your client and the team.

Requirements
You will have previous contract catering experience in a similar position. You will have good financial knowledge, supporting and coaching your team to deliver financial budgets. Good Client and people management skills is essential for this role. You must have exceptional communication skills and be someone who leads by example. You must be enthusiastic and highly motivated, with the ability to get on with colleagues and customers.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK and provide valid right to work in the UK.
