An opportunity has arisen for a Sous Chef to work for a rapidly growing catering company who have now taken over the full catering operations in a well established prestigious golf club, which is home to the east of England PGA.

We are looking for someone who has a proven track record within fine dining establishments.

The ideal candidate will be able to:

* Deputise in the absence of the Head Chef

* Complete stock checks

* Produce varied and nutritious menu's

* Have full working knowledge of all kitchen equipment

* Take responsibility for all food health and hygiene

* Work passionately and produce food of a high quality taking pride in presentation

You will need:

* An NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification (Food preparation and cooking/professional cookery)

* A minimum of level 2 food hygiene certificate (Must be in date)

* Up to date knowledge of allergens

* Knowledge of all current food related legislation's

You will need a pro-active approach and a passion for producing quality, varied and nutritious menu's.
