We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and driven Senior Sous Chef for a hotel in Bedford.

The Senior Sous Chef role would be ideal for someone who is looking to climb the brigade ladder and make a name for themselves within the industry.

This role requires flexibility in your approach where you will be assisting the executive chef in developing and costings menus and being able to jump into the kitchen to be hands on if required.

This successful candidate will come from hotels and restaurants background with an eye for detail and strong in menu development.

The role will include:

* Support the Executive chef in daily kitchen management.

* Manage the purchasing process and ensure best quality produce is always used ·Be a natural of your brigade.

* Be involved in menu development daily.

* Keep on top of HACCP and COSSH paperwork.

* Be engaging, positive and approachable in all situations.

* Be responsible for the quality and preparation of the food offer.

* Effectively and passionately manage your time for maximum output.

* Be a great communicator, both within the Kitchen Brigade and the operation as a whole.
