Are you a dynamic chef with or without another half who loves cooking but would also love to ski (or learn to ski)?  Then we're looking for you!  

If you haven't skied before don't worry we'll get you lessons to get started and you'll soon get the hang of it.  You will be running your own kitchen, cooking for our 10-14 guests in our superior  chalet Les Clochettes in the picturesque resort of Megève, France. You need to have flair, imagination, great presentation skills, the ability to cook to a high standard and a genuine passion for food.  As a relatively small company, we’re open to individual ideas and originality in our kitchens. We can give you set menu plans and templates to get you started, but one of the best things about working for us is your freedom to be creative and not cook the same meals week-in, week-out. We pride ourselves on the standard of cuisine that we offer and want you to be part of it.  If you're applying as a couple/friends then the other half would be looking after guests and needs to have a high level of customer care ideally with a background in hospitality.  You would be looking after every aspect of our guests comfort from the more basic cleaning rooms and waiting on the table to sorting lift passes out, restaurant recommendations and bookings, advice on where to ski and generally answering questions and being a helpful, friendly face.

The Job - Chef

- Cooking breakfast, afternoon tea, canapes and a 4-course evening meal including cheese board for 10-14 guests in your chalet 6 days a week;

- Taking responsibility for food hygiene standards and processes in your kitchen;

- Ordering food to your chalet;

- Stock control, stock rotation and wastage minimisation.

- Working as a team with the chalet host

- Having fun and going skiing!

The Job - Host

- Cleaning the rooms

- Serving breakfast, dinner

- Helping in the kitchen with food prep and washing up

- Looking after our guests, answering questions and providing great customer service

- Sorting out lift passes and looking after petty cash

- Working as a team with the chef

- Having fun and going skiing!

The Setup

-Two chalet-hotels in Megève: the Rond Point and the Sylvana, plus our superior Chalet Les Clochettes and four self-catered apartments;

-Five members of staff in each chalet-hotel Manager, Chef, Driver/Assistant and two Hosts and two in our Chalet Les Clochettes;-Resort Manager, Maintenance Person and Resort Administrator in resort for support

We are looking for a chef with or without another half who can cook mouth-watering food with excellent presentation and offer great customer service.

You need to be organised, friendly, outgoing, hard working and have good attention to detail.
