Le Corden Bleu has launched a UK Scholarship Award to find an undiscovered cooking talent aged between 16 and 19. Chefs from the world famous Cooking School have begun their search by touring schools and giving cooking lessons to find the right candidate. The person selected for the Scholarship will have the chance to study for Le Grand Diplôme. Le Grand Diplôme students learn all the classic French techniques in Cuisine and Pâtisserie, progressing from Basic to Superior level over the course of 3 terms.
Chef Julie Walsh comments, "This will be the first time that Le Cordon Bleu London has offered the Le Grand Diplôme UK Scholarship Award along with individual masterclasses. We are looking for 16-19 year old students; they don't have to be experienced in cooking. All they need is passion and we'll teach them the rest!"
