National Chef of the Year Open for Entries

The Craft Guild of Chefs have announced that The National Chef of the Year competition is now accepting entries for the 2012 heats. Finals will be held at The Restaurant Show in London on Tuesday 9th October. This prestigous competition is famous for boosting the careers of the likes of Gordon Ramsay, Frederick Forster, Mark Sargeant and Louis Jones. David Mulcahy, Vice President, Craft Guild of Chefs commentiong on the 2012 launch said: “We urge any chef who thinks they have what it takes to win this coveted prize, to enter the competition. Winning The National Chef of The Year title is a significant accolade and again, 2012 features a prize fund in excess of £15,000". Closing date for entries is 20th April.
