A Chef Academy is being established on the Isle of Anglesey to provide young people with an opportunity to develop a career in catering. The "Oyster Catcher" will open next year on the site of a derelict Hotel. The project is being funded by John Timpson, Chairman of the north-west of England-based shoe repair and key-cutting empire.
Mr Timpson, who already has an established award winning Restaurant on the island, the White Eagle, will put Head Chef Roger Gorman in charge of the academy who used to work in London alongside Gary Rhodes.
