New Head Chef Appointed

The Harbour Lights in South Tyneside has appointed well known chef John Calton as their new head chef

John has appeared on various TV programmes, including Masterchef: The Professionals, where he came third and was offered a job by Michel Roux Jr.

Speaking about his appointment he said "It is a bit of a homecoming for me because I have worked away for the last 10 years, I have been given a good opportunity here."
