The Business Insider website recently named Chefs as one of nine "future-proof" career choices.

The article refers to recent research by Mariano Mamertino who came up with a list of career paths that are the least likely to be replaced or taken over by machines in the future.

The list included Chefs, Marketing, Healthcare, Education, Cyber Security, Human Resources, Logistics Management, Data Scientists and Gig Workers.
