This is you, and we need your stand out culinary skills, ability to lean forward and keen eye for detail to join our culinary team at the The Yard, Kitchen & Bar located in the perimeter of Pride Park, Derby. The Yard offers a casual dining experience for their guests from 9.30am till 11pm daily, with a menu that includes nibbles to accompany drinks from crispy potato peels, pork scratchings and stuffing balls all made in house by our talented chefs. Starters such as mirror grilled prawns and ham frites can be found on our mouth watering menu, and the mains sees a mix of the best of Asia as well as good honest British food and features a local butchers cut specials board, so the ideal candidate will have come from a similar background.
This role supports the Head Chef/Sous Chef with the preparation of raw components to agreed recipe, prepare customer orders to specification within agreed service times, while at all time supporting the operational delivery of the culinary function.This role is offered on a guaranteed hours basis of 40 hours per week, paying £9.42 per hour. The restaurant is open 7 days a week, so the ideal candidate will be able to work evenings and weekends.
