Joshua Stoddard from Staffordshire will start work at one of the country's top restauarants next month. Working under Michel Roux Junior, Joshua will begin his dream job as a commis chef at La Gavroche in Mayfair.
He started off working as a pot washer in a local restaurant while still at school. Since then he worked at a number of restaurants, spending the last 18 months at the Nelson in Chorley while studying NVQs in professional cookery.
Joshua is really excited about following in the footsteps of Gordon Ramsay and Marcus Waring, who have both worked La Gavroche. "It really is my dream job. I didn't think I would get it. I will be cooking in the Premier League" he said.
