Devon chef creates world's most expensive jacket potato

Chef Ben Kingdon's £40 'Tuxedo spud' is believed to be the most expensive baked potato in the world, according to a Daily Mail article. The posh potato, which contains creme fraiche, lemon, chives and spring onions, topped with Italian Calvisius Caviar and served on a wooden board with balsamic-roasted vine tomatoes and a glass of champagne, is a far cry from the traditional 'cheese and beans' spud. "We wanted to offer our customers something completely out of the ordinary," the 24-year old head chef explained. "Customers are paying extra for the quality of the ingredients, including the caviar."
The Cary Arms in Devon, where the potato is being sold, also offers a special treat for canine customers - a £5 all you can eat chicken and rice bowl!
